Marketing Does Not Work On Me (And Other Lies)

Marketer David Frank goes through his favorite marketing techniques, psychological tricks, and human brain exploits that are used on us on a daily basis. From the origins of snake oil to selling skin whitening, subtle color cues to created medical needs, this talk pulls back the curtain on marketing like a magician exposing tricks. And maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to spot the tricks being used on you & can resist.

This talk was originally given at the Skepticaley Day of Science 2016 at Glasgow Caledonian University, and has since been toured in York and Manchester.
