Being Australian...doing Australian stuff. At The Pinnacles, Western Australia.
I always wanted to climb Bluff Knoll, often (but erroneously) marketed as the tallest mountain in Western Australia at 1099m (3605 feet).
Friend: "I saw that photo of you above Bluff Knoll, with your legs hanging over the edge. How did you get there?" Me: "I crawled on my belly, terrified." Friend: "Fair enough. I'd have done the same." Me: "But once you get there, the wind is blowing fiercely UP the sheer drop, not pushing you towards it, so it's ok."
